ABS Managing Director Colm Cussen attended an event for the announcement of new jobs in the midwest today. The Minister for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen T.D. announced the creation of 38 new jobs for the region.

ABS Engineering Control Systems Ltd specialise in state-of-the-art Building Management Systems (BMS). These systems regulate the interior temperature of your building, ventilation and air conditioning, thereby increasing productivity and reducing energy costs.

Having worked with the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) to have the EasyIO FG-32+ electronic controller included in the ACA accredited listing, ABS can now offer Irish companies further savings as 100% of the purchase price can be written off against profit in the first year of acquisition. Exciting times lie ahead for ABS Engineering as we are currently developing a ‘Smart Building’ project for the Indian market.

We would like to commend Eamon Ryan Head of Enterprise with Local Enterprise Office Limerick and Christina Clancy Business Advisor LEO for all of their support to date on the development of our business. The investment and mentoring programme for start-up businesses provided by the LEO throughout the mid-west region is second to none.

A big thank you to Mayor James Collins, Senator Maria Byrne, Senator Kieran O’Donnell, and Tom Neville TD who also attended the event.
